We’ve been looking for an interim house to tide us over ’til we get our (hopefully) long-term home built on our gulf front lot. This has been a roller coaster – we’re looking for a resale on the large side of small, and we want to fix it up so that we can turn around and sell it when our other house is ready to move into.
When you’re looking at houses 40+ years old, they can be really quirky. One had a full bath that you had to go through the laundry room to get to. One had a full bath, partially finished, that the guy had created by stealing space from the middle of the front half of his garage. One had a full bath in the garage (this house is actually number one on our list now.) One had a toilet sitting in the living room (non-functioning, I hope). I’m sensing a theme regarding quirky and bathrooms.
Here are a few photos that will share the highlights of what we’ve seen:
This is going to be a fun ride.
