Roof Certification

(typing via K.’s iPhone)
Got a voice mail from our insurance agent this afternoon while on our road trip to MS for Dad’s 89th birthday celebration…Citizens, the state-run insurance agency, wants us to have a “roof certification” done before they will issue us coverage. *sigh*. I think I will become very proficient at *sigh*ing by the time our insurance issues are settled.

So now I have a call in to a building inspector to see if they can inspect our roof right after we get back home. Then we’ll wait and hope and pray that he says that there are at least 3 years left on the roof of this house. Otherwise we’ll need to have a new roof put on by May 9th.

I think we all know what Roseanne Roseannadanna would have to say…

Ridiculous… but, at least, they are willing to work with you and are giving you advance notice on all their requirements. You sure have been through a lot with this…. this too shall pass.
    Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, Eliz! I think all of this is just part of the process of getting this house whipped back into shape.
