I saw an e-mail in my inbox today with a subject of “lab results”…I held my breath and clicked on it. The results for each of the three samples said “NAD” – No Asbestos Detected!!! Hooray! Sure will make it easier to remove the old popcorn finish on our ceilings. Jim couldn’t wait and started some scraping tonight. He did a patch a little over 2 feet wide and about 6 feet long.
I had a third A/C contractor come out to give us a bid today…now it’s time to hash through the information and figure out what we want. I also continued working on our income taxes…I’ve reconstructed our cost basis for Mattel and Coca Cola, and tomorrow I plan to work on Merck.

It’s Jim with his childhood “Itchy” (his name for his old wool blanket). His sister brought it with her on this visit and apparently Jim thought Itchy still has a little life left – Casey liked it, too 😮

It’s going OK – we expect this to be a long process, so we aren’t killing ourselves to finish it in a month or two 😮
